iPhone vs Samsung! Apple iPhones or Samsung Galaxy

Posted by ROIBLE Agency on

A dilemma that many of you face quite often when deciding to buy a new mobile phone: Apple iPhone vs Samsung? Let's try to compare the two giants of the smartphone market, trying to make it as simple as possible. Although the priorities in phone selection may vary from person to person, it is still possible to list the main features that we can compare between models in general.

iPhone vs Samsung in Terms of Screen Quality

Apple keeps increasing the display resolution of its smartphones on each of its most recent models, going up to 2778 x 1284 resolution on the iPhone 12 Pro Max. While this is a tremendous improvement, offering 458 pixels per inch, it still isn't as high as Samsung's offerings on Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, which resolves 3200 x 1440 pixels, working out to 511 pixels per inch. The display types are different in these two phones: iPhone 12 Pro Max has a Super Retina XDR OLED Display while Galaxy Note 20 Ultra comes with a Dynamic AMOLED 2X Displays. They both have pons and cons. The AMOLED displays have better picture quality but consume more power, especially when displaying bright colors. OLED displays consume less power, so more visible in the sunlight, but have slightly poorer picture quality.

In its newest series, we see that Apple continues its tradition of launching with three different iPhone Screen Sizes. While the smallest iPhone Screen in 11 Series was 5.8 -inch in iPhone 11 Pro, Apple has introduced a 5.4 inch iPhone Screen in iPhone 12 Mini.

If we compare iPhone vs Samsung flagship phones in terms of their screen sizes and the displays, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is the winner with its giant 6.9- inch screen.

iPhone vs Samsung in Terms of Camera

Cameras are perhaps one of the most defining features of smartphone selection. In this sense, you can take great pictures and videos with both iPhones and Galaxy phones. If you are not an expert, it will not be easy for you to distinguish the quality difference between them.

Having already broken the dual camera tradition with the 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max, Apple has also used three rare-facing camera lenses in its new 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max phones.

12 Pro Max has triple-lens 12MP wide, 12MP ultrawide and 12MP telephoto rear, 12MP front cameras, promising you excellence. The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra having a similar set of cameras wins the megapixel competition with its 108MP primary shooter.

iPhone vs Samsung in Terms of Battery Life

The comparison of iPhone vs Samsung Phones in terms of their battery lives can sometimes be confusing. Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max has 3687mAh while Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has 4500mAh. When it comes to battery life, a big battery does not always mean a longer life. Just by looking at the above values, you should not conclude that Note 20 Ultra has a better battery. Why is that? Let me explain. Apple’s power optimizations, in both its software and hardware, play a significant role in the overall power efficiency of the phone. So, the competition of iPhone vs Samsung in this regard does not have a winner, we can say. They both have a battery life that is long enough for a full day of use.

iPhone vs Samsung in Terms of Price

iPhone 12 Pro Max Galaxy Samsung Note 20 Ultra
128GB $ 1,099 / £ 1,099 / € 1,259 $ 1,299 / £ 1,179 / €
256GB $ 1,199 / £ 1,199 / € 1,379
512GB $ 1,399 / £ 1,399 / € 1,609 $ 1,449 / £ 1,279 / €

When it comes to having a high-tech smartphone, it is not wise to expect an affordable price. Since the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has been on the shelves for a while, you can have one of these two tech wonders at the same prices with special promotions.

iPhone vs Samsung in Terms of Speed

With their state-of-art processors, the comparison of iPhone vs Samsung might not be easy when it comes to their speed.

12 Pro Max employs Apple’s A14 Bionic Chip, while Note 20 Ultra comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus (USA) and Exynos 990 (global). The new 5nm technology allowing to have more transistors makes it more capable. However, at 6 GB and 12 GB, it can only pack half of the RAM you will find in the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. For those who prefer to have extra storage space, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra would win the battle for sure, as it comes with 256GB internal memory as standard, while you can only have 128GB with iPhone 12 Pro Max.

iPhone vs Samsung in Terms of Mobile Phone Case Options

Both technology titans have a wide range of phone case collections made from different materials from silicone to leather case. When evaluated from this point of view, it is difficult to say that Apple or Samsung is one step ahead.

Choosing the Right Mobil Phone Case

Undoubtedly, smartphones are indispensable elements of the professional and personal lives of millions of people. They are at home, in the office, on travel, everywhere in short. Being portable is the most significant feature that makes them popular but, the same feature makes them more prone to physical damage.

It is vital to protect your smartphones in terms of both getting rid of extra repair costs and eliminating the risk of losing your data. One of the best ways to do this is to choose the right phone case.

Other Factors in the Process of Choosing

Personal priorities, understanding of fashion, and color preferences are the most determining factors of the phone case selection process. It is useful to add the age factor to this list. While young people mostly prefer silicone snap-on covers, we observe that flip covers are preferred more in middle-aged and older groups. Again, in advanced age groups, as a result of financial competence, leather cover preferences come to the fore.

Activities iPhone and Samsung have been compared in many perspectives. I hope you will find this new post useful in determining your phone model and even your Samsung or iPhone case selection.
